Prayer

hey guys had a tiring day today. went to ac to help paint the banner but didnt manage to cos before the design was fully drawn out i had to go barker. so i took cab down to barker (dont judge, its much faster instead of taking mrt all the way) and went arnd talking to friends. didnt really have anything to buy even with over a 100 bucks. gave some to my friends and the rest my dad spent on food and gifts. yea so since i didnt really play any games or go shopping i decided to help out at alex's class's haunted house with poh and jo-ann (is tt how u spell her name? haha). so spent the rest of the day there and managed to get cip hours for it. YAY!!

ok so today's qt is abt prayer. the title is why pray? and their answer is cos Jesus did it. since Jesus is like the perfect person isnt He someone we shld learn from? but i noe wad some of u may be thinking. "tts such a politically correct answer" or "how does prayer benefit me as a person". well i figure tt if u tell other pple why u pray is cos Jesus did it, they will be confused.

so well ive got a few pts why we shld pray. one is tt its a privilege. i mean how difficult isit to be able to talk to celebs or presidents cos they are so important. but we are able to talk to the most important person in the whole universe, the "president" of the universe, the ultimate celeb. so dont u think tt it is a privilege to be able to talk to our Almighty Creator so easily? i feel tt it is not a right but a privilege. in the past, only the highest priest is able to go into the Holy of Holies, a place in the tabernacle, to talk to God. and now we are able to just speak to Him.

prayer is also a connection with God tt we are able to have. it is our way of communicating with our Creator and for our relationship to continue to be strong, prayer is a must.

next pt is tt He is always there to listen to wadever probs u may have. man may fail but God will nv fail u. u may not have someone to talk to at times. even ur best friend may be busy. but God will always be there for u. i always find tt i can always count on Him to be there for me whenever i need to talk to someone. and sometimes when im just walking i find myself just saying something to Him. and when u feel tt no one can help u, He is there.

which brings me to the next pt. He can help u. u just have to ask. As Luke 11:9-10 states ⁹"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ¹⁰For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." so tt just goes to show tt if u need help, just pray and seek Him and He will help u.

lastly, i feel tt prayer is the way i thank God for all tt He has done for me. whenever something good happens, i find myself saying a short prayer thanking God for it. and for all the things tt God has done for u im sure tt u would want to thank Him for all of it. so wad better way to thank Him than to pray and just thank Him.

well tts it for my qt. so lets continue to pray and stay strong in our relationship with Him. oh i just realised this girl in the Baracuda Batucada band tt came over to barker to play i thought was someone i noe was really tt person. so im feel quite guilty i didnt recognise her. i was like "is she bernette? she totally looks like her" but i wasent sure so oh wells. haha. ks gonna go sleep nowz. tmr got service. ohoh continue to pray for the overseas peeps. thx guys. cyas:)
